Arillas village lies in olive groves on the north west
coast of Corfu by the unspoilt sandy beach and clear blue sea of Arillas bay.
Agios Stefanos bay to the north and Agios Georgios
bay to the south both have good beaches. Of the nearby villages Afionas is good
for watching sunsets over tiny islands and Magoulades is very Greek, and has
amazing hair pin bends and views.
A holiday here is to experience the simple Greek
way of life while unwinding and relaxing on the beach.
There are lovely walks through the olive groves,
vineyards and along the cliff paths, especially during the spring and early
summer when there is a variety of wild flowers. There are several tavernas
serving traditional Greek dishes using fresh local produce.
There are also a number of mini markets where you
can find almost everything, and also a numerous agencies where you can rent a
car, a motorbike or a bicycle. More, the local souvenir stores can guarantee
that you will find the most beautiful souvenirs to take with you back home, or
to buy as a gift for your friends and family.
